i mean its true tho.
Ah that toy hammer is very satisfying
Yes, I really wanted that second hit to land as well.
Actually to me it looked like it was supposed to be the fourth hit, she hit her three times and before she landed the last one she caught a bullet to the temple.
Reminds me of what Kim Heechul (a korean idol idk if anime viewers know him) said on Knowing Brothers that it doesn't hurt but it's annoying/infuriating.
I feel bad for Mai because of what she went through but she shouldn't blame Maki she should blame the clan for not just putting her in that position but also Maki. Maki left the clan to prove them wrong and come back stronger to make a change in the clan. If Maki didn't do it, then nobody would've, and Mai and Maki would continue to suffer and future generations.
Maki is seriously cool!!
everyone simping for Maki, as it should be
Was there even a question? Pretty, glasses, weapon master, strong af. DOMMY MOMMY STEP ON ME
Nobody gonna step on you . Gross hahah
This guy never heard of "jokes and giggles"
But no one is for Mei Mei.
#MeiMeiSupremacy
The comments vanishing is a tragedy, we lost those comments detailing the relationship of the twins, its just mai hate now mostly
Yeah I think jjk is an amazing show it has amazing women presentation second THE EMOTIONS HIT DEEP ,they explain the situation so well I feel the pain too . Mai and maki have an hard relationship because they are so alike and so different. Ugh I wanna go deeper into this but I’m so lazy to type it out
I rly like blue girl 😂
Miwa ftw!
in exchange for not being able to use any technique she has superhuman abilities? I think she might even be considered lucky. I guess my love for her just increased.
Ya just got a competitor mate. It's a battle to the death for Maki's love.
The older sister carried a greater burdenz maybe, but its kinda sad to...Maki is so wondeful and Spectacular, super strong and hardworking.
Nobara spittin facts...so strong that gives fear haha, wondeful, strong and beautiful woman, holy shit, jujutsu makes amazes me everytime.
Again, nobara smilin and blush at the and give me stregth
Extra in the end is sooo blessed...
kasumi miwa best girl!
I'm glad there are like minded individuals here.
Isn't the little sister being selfish? Rather than go on blaming your sister for trying to move on with her life or even try to help her she's bitching about her having to work hard because her sister did too? You can simply choose not to work hard if you don't want to...nothing ever goes perfectly and as you thought it would....anime logic never fails to amaze me
yeah, you try that in a powerful family. lol .. she's basically being forced to be a jujutsu sorcerer now. she doesn't work hard, she's gonna die on the job.
it's the clan that's to blame. there is nothing selfish about wanting to live life how you want to.
You're very closed-minded/naive. Maki and Mai could both be considered selfish, but the fact of the matter is that neither one is to blame for how messed up their clan is.
It's not close-minded or naive. OP made sensible points. Yes, the clan is to blame, but the fact that Mai places her blame on her sister, instead of the clan, she already misplaced her blame on that one. Both of them are victims of the clan's system. Why place the blame on Maki for trying fight it and hating her for not falling down with her? Should Maki just tie herself down and deteriorate like her? Because that was basically what Mai was implying Maki should do.
exactly, these anime characters arrive at the dumbest conclusions ever ¨oh my sister is trying to change the way our family works and get stronger for the betterment of not only our life but also future generations, but oh, no she is trying to ruin my life in the process so I hate her¨ and im guessing the little sisters first love was the big sister or some incestuous shit
Mai is a bxtch for wanting to just not be alone at the bottom, and drag maki down.
Mai is being forced to be a jujutus sorcerer, so of course especially has to work hard to survive. That or either a curse or the zenin will kill her.
Mai is really rxtarded cuz she didn't just ask Gojo for protection. He would have given it to her, although she would still have to work hard, she could live without fear of death.(
Literal crab bucket mentality.
its not anime logic. this sht happens on real life just change the settings. Many families force their children to go on a pre-determined path in life and would not support them otherwise if they chose their own. Also what makes you think people in real life aren't selfish? This could easily happen irl, not everyone's born all-wise and mature
But she was always reliant on Maki so it naturally shocked her how Maki was far more less dependant than Mai ever was.
bruh
I'm definitely not going to try to make that milk chili ramen in the kitchen later
Yes, you will
Squeaky Hammer to the FACE!😖
So that Momo wouldn't get any scars... only cute squeaks. 🥺
Yea it was supposed to be a dramatic scene, but the squeak just made me wheeze (and the fact it was on replay 😂)
I hate it when people make it as a competition of pain. Unless for self defense, being hurt does not justify a person hurting others.
Another thing that Maki has which Mai does not - guts. Pinning the blame down on Maki and expecting her to fall down with her.. it annoys me so much. It is sad when the system oppresses the people, but you can't expect people to just back down and then blame your misfortune on them because you don't have the guts to break through that just like how those people are trying to. Idk why I'm so riled up but i guess it just hits close to home gfdhsjgfskj
and the disrespect with that toy hammer dang
Maki san so freaking cool. I get why Nobara's acting like her underling lol. The courage to just not give a flying fk what her clan thinks and forge her own path so confidently. And i understand the Mai's troubles. She might have had some cursed energy but she seems pretty average otherwise. Tho like Nobara said, misfortune is not an excuse to treat others like trash.
And i honestly don't get why people do not like episodes like this. This gives a lot of context to the characters. I do not like how high and mighty in some people are being here. So annoying. Some people just lack empathy i guess. A lot of people watch anime to get some feels
MIWA WITH A PONYTAIL HITS SOOOOOOO DIFFERENT OH MY LORD I'M SIMPING.
I'm getting tired of this battle/tournament, whatever it's called. Why are all these kids fighting each other? Where are the cursed spirits? Can we get back to Itadori please
And everyone has a shallow and linear reason for acting stupid. At least, Naruto villains had more reasons than them to act stupid.
Not just villains, but the kids' fights were amazing too. At least Neji had more to say on way he disliked Hinata and his reasons were pretty understandable.
2 years old comment but had to tell you how much
Honestly, i'm surprised people praise this anime as much as they do. The animation is great but the characters so far are quite bland. And i think Nobara actually has a boring design. But if the creator was going for totally normal girl then he succeeded.
Thank you! I still don't get the hype behind this anime or it's manga. That's why I was never interested in reading the story any further. And because Demon Slayer became famous around the same time, I'm skeptical of it's quality too.
I know this comment is 2 years old, but i gotta say i agree.
It's like the author read that shounens usually have a tournament arc and just forced it in there.
There not even supposed to be fighting each other, there supposed to be gathering points or killing the main curse. wtf?
exactly...i m missing him already!
Nah I'm not gonna lie what I was paying attention to is how Maki literally whipped two of the Kyoto students BACK TO BACK so casually, that was low-key badass.
ok but lowkey this show has a kinda depressing depiction of women and some of the female characters have kiiiinda shitty values so i appreciate that our lovely ladies Nobara and Maki are just like "fuck misogyny im gonna beat ur ass"
I was so curious about Mai that I checked her Wikipedia page. I am filled with regret.
Mai is nothing but a jealous, spiteful child who'll blame the entire world for her circumstances.
jealous of powers she knows the clan does not acknowledge? that put maki at the bottom, right next to her? how about you watch it again and try reading between the lines buddy.
and she's also not blaming the entire world. she's blaming maki. the one blaming the entire world is the feminist riding the broom. i think people who get forced to live a life they don't want to, because of choices they did not make, can blame those people responsible. why should that be wrong?
i'm amazed that 6 people actually agreed with you.
damn nobara spittin facts
